Sometimes they used the umbrella, sometimes not!
Kyle and Jason went on a father/son Melchizedek Priesthood campout in Knob Noster, just a little bit north of us.

Kyle looked forward to this for a long time. He like sleeping in the tent, but heard "bear noises" at night.
Poor Rachel! Sometimes she doesn't think she needs a nap. But she does! She is sitting up against the wall asleep.
Kyle has been studying the circus in preschool. This was clown day!

Grandma Westwood sent Easter money and we bought a couple of kites.

Kyle graduated from his tricycle to a big two-wheeler (4 with training wheels). He loves it and has even ridden with me to school and to the church!
Rachel's legs aren't quite long enough to pedal the tricycle, but she's happy to have it anyway.
Easter! The kids had a great time coloring eggs.
Kyle wanted all of his eggs blue.
Kayla and Kyle spent hours hiding the eggs for each other to find. We counted them every time, but I still found one a few weeks later in the bookcase after trying to figure out the nasty smell!
