This week was the Concordia Fall Festival. It is a really big deal in our town. The teachers at school don't give homework until after street fair is over, and they even let school out early on friday for the festivities. It ended up being a very raining and relatively cool few days. The highlight for the kids was saturday when we went to the carnival. The kids had saved money from their birthdays so they could buy a wristband. I wish I would have taken pictures. They had a great time, riding as many rides as they wanted. Unfortunately, about half hour before the wristband afternoon ended, the tornado siren sounded throughout town. A tornado had been spotted 5 miles southwest of town. The street was cleared, with a little bit of panic; and we had to go home. But they definitely got their money's worth. Last night we went to the parade to watch the bands play. It was fun but rainy!

It is tough to live away from family. But it does seem to bring your own family closer together. it was good to hear from you!
Wow, that temple was quite the undertaking. It looks fabulous though. I have not decided on my hair, yet. It is still long and I keep going back and forth. But one of these days I am going to completely chop it off. I just need that little bit of courage, I guess.
