Today I was released as the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society Presidency, a calling I've been serving in since we moved to Missouri. I was called to serve as the early morning seminary teacher! I'm really excited:
1. I'm excited to have studying the scriptures and lesson manuals be a part of my calling. There is a lot of study required to prepare 5 lessons a week!
2. I get to spend the hour of 6-7 am with the best teenagers I know. They really are amazing. They will be teaching me for sure!
3. I love relief society with all my heart, but I'm excited to just participate and not plan; and I'm excited to not have any responsibilities on Sunday (except as the back-up piano player).
4. The only drawback I can think of, besides my self-doubt of my abilities, is having to carve in time for exercise, which I always do from 6-7 am. I will need to come up with some new routines for exercise and study time.

wow! that's so exciting! i'd love that! I took the seminary teachign course at byu at loved it. having a slower sunday will be very nice too, but the exercise issue would definitely be a problem for me. Glad the recital went well - cute songs!
Congratulations on your new calling. You will do awesome. Teenagers definitely keep you on your toes.
Love Harold & Carol :)
You will be a great seminary teacher! Merry Christmas!
