Snow Day

Last week we had our first significant snow of the winter; it wasn't even that significant, but the kids could play in it at least.  This is what I saw when they went out to play.
That's Kyle over at the neighbor's house, trying to shovel their driveway.  I'm grateful my children have been watching their father serve and follow his example.
Rachel really was happy (but cold) in this picture).

They rounded up some friends; the girls worked on a snowman
and the boys worked on dragging snow around-- I'm not sure what their goal was.

Unfortunately, the snowman wasn't staying together too well, so the girls put the different pieces in the tree.
Rachel and her friend later made a slide out of snow.

The next day, Valentine's Day, the snow was melting fast.  I decided to take Aaron and Reina on a sleigh ride before it was all gone (and it was by that afternoon).
I managed to take a picture of Kyle and Rachel's arch before it melted.
Then I got to go to Rachel's Valentine party.  She was so excited because she won the prize for best Valentine box.  She used Kayla's box from last year and added a few things.
