End of Year Excitement

There's been a lot of fun things going on relative to the end of the school year.  I will try to to summarize:

Kyle and Rachel had their Spring Program at School.

Rachel sang sons and Kyle played his recorder.

For the first time, we were able to attend the Junior High/High School Awards Assembly.  Kayla received several awards and she hated walking up on the stage to receive them.  I can't blame her because I still feel that way.  She was tough and did great.

Kyle's class put on a pioneer play.

He was a narrator.  He did a good job (when he was able to control his giggles)

The 1st Graders had an "Author's Tea" where we were able to go watch Rachel read some of the great writing she's done this year.

She enjoyed reading it almost as much as I enjoyed hearing it.

The end of the school year also marks the end of my first year tending Reina and Aaron.  It's been so great and has worked out really well.  I'm sure going to miss these guys.

Aaron goes to kindergarten in the Fall, so I won't tend him anymore, but I'll have Reina back, along with a newborn baby boy!  How lucky can I get?

Posted by PicasaI am soooo happy that school is out, and I'm excited for a great summer to spend with my kids.
