The big week began with breakfast in bed on Sunday morning on the 3rd of March.
She was a little bummed that we had Stake Conference instead of regular church on her birthday, because she didn't get sung to. But after church, we had a family party and that made up for it.

She said she got the best presents ever (lots of art supplies)!
We had a busy weekend with Stake Conference. I was grateful for Kayla who put up decorations while Jason and I were gone to church meetings the night before, and Jason, who made the cake because I had forgotten (I left the cake mix out on the counter to remind me, and Kayla cleaned it up). My brain needs a lot of back-up support these days.
4 short days later, the grandparents arrived!
I let Kyle and Rachel stay home from school Friday to spend time with them. On Saturday evening the much anticipated event finally arrived: Her Baptism!
This girl was on cloud 9. She knew what she was doing and she knew it was right.
We were so grateful fofr all the family and friends who came to support her.
These girls sang beautifully as part of the program, accompanied by my dear friend, Nancy. I'm so grateful for her because she played all the music and I was able to sit with Rachel.
