Camping and other stuff...

We went overnight camping a couple of weekends ago.

It was our first time tent-camping in Missouri all together.  We got into a pretty good groove.

 Kayla helped with the tent,

Rachel helped unload and unpack,

And Kyle passed off some scouting requirement making us dinner and building our fire!

It was a great meal and wonderful weather for camping.

In other news, Kyle got braces on Wednesday :)

...then a haircut.  He hasn't had it this short in a long time-- but I was cutting it, and I only know one haircut--like I do for Jason's hair.  He didn't mind.

Our beloved trampoline is resting in peace after a small whole got bigger and bigger until this:

But 5 short days later, we had a new one!  That's how important our trampoline is to us :)

(As you can see from Kyle giving it a hug)

Kyle and Kayla were honored before a football game--along with many of their classmates-- for doing well on the annual assessement test.  Kyle is on the right in the orange shirt.

We stayed to watch the football game, and my favorite part was watching Rachel and her friends.

This is them watching the homecoming royalty.  She's an expressive gal.
