Kayla turned 15 on Thursday!  We were traveling home from Colorado, so it wasn't much of a birthday for her.  I did make her a birthday breakfast on Sunday, and cake later on.  But I was thankful for her grandma, who made her a cake before we left the beautiful mountain.

 Knowing we would be gone on her birthday, her gifts from us came early.  She wanted a new room.  And she wanted to help!  We covered up the purple.

 Her handy dandy cousins came straight from girl's camp to help too!  She went from purple to light gray.  I'll admit I talked her into the gray.  She wanted purple and green, and I suggested she use those for accent colors on more neutral walls and bed.

I think it turned out great!  She's happy too- thank goodness.

 

Now on to getting her driver's permit!
