Between our church callings and community involvement, Jason and I have a lot of stuff. It was overrunning our bedroom and the clutter was driving me crazy. Not needing the bunk bed we had in there before when I was providing childcare, we sold it and used the money to purchase this table, chair, and shelf unit.
Jess gave me these maps for my birthday, and I finally got to put them up on the wall! (I'm still trying to decide if I should keep the framed photos that are on loan from Aunt Diane). I've been wanting big maps for a loong time so I'm really excited about this.
It's not perfectly set up yet, but I love it. It's a quiet placec and space to work, especially if the kids are watching tv in the front room. And we have a space for everything.
Don't worry if you have used this as a guest room- we're planning something in the future for a guest room downstairs. We just don't have enough guests to constitute dedicating this space to it ;)
