Quick trip to Mesquite

In April I got to go on a special solo trip to Mesquite to see my mom's Mesquite Toes Spring Spectacular for the first time. I flew from Grand Junction to Las Vegas and then took a bus to Mesquite since my parents were busy performing.  I couldn't quite place the driver of the shuttle, although I recognized him and he recognized me.  Toward the end of the trip and hearing him speak to another passenger, I realized it was my old boss at Timberline Farms, Randy Hall!  Of course, I was not up to telling him I figured it out when he dropped me off at the casino where my dad picked me up.  Jess and Trent came for the same performance I did, so it was super fun to see them too.

Somehow I don't have videos of my mom's performances?  But my dad was an interim act with his cowboy poetry, which was awesome:

Here's some pictures of my mom's performances at least.

She's so cute.  It's so fun to see my parents living their best lives!
