In early June, Kayla, Melody and I took an overnight trip to Utah to celebrate cousin Charlotte's 1st birthday. We were able to stay with Scot and Becky in West Valley City the night before and go on an awesome hike. Jacob is quite the explorer!
We stopped at the Jordan River Temple on the way to the party and were sad to find it closed, but we got a nice picture anyway!
Charlotte's birthday party was very fun, but cold and windy. This is the only picture I got:
After that, we headed home but stopped at the condo where Kayla was born and snapped a picture.
It's so nice to live close enough for overnight trips to Utah!
