Happy New Year!

Our family spent New Years Eve at our branch party at the church. Everyone brought treats to share and games to play. This year was even better with my sister and her family there!

Kyle is getting excited about Chess and checkers. I guess I better learn how to play those now. Kyle started New Years Eve early with a 6:30 appointment at the hospital to have tubes put in his ears again. He had this done in May but they fell out. He recovered fully within 30 minutes of coming home and was ready to party! The best part--he can hear again!

It's fun to have Rachel growing up. She had a great time playing games with her own friends, which made it possible for Jason and me to spend more time together and with our friends!

Kayla burned her tongue on the hot chocolate and was preoccupied with that for a while, but we distracted her with games. Games are the best! We got several new games for Christmas, one of which was Sorry! that we've played a lot, including at the party. Happy 2009!!
