The Best Birthday Ever

Last week was my birthday. It really was a special day. It's so fun to have kids old enough to care and want to make it special for me. I got to seminary at 6 am and it was decorated with balloons, streamers and birthday treats for me to pass out. Jason and Kayla had gone the night before and decorate. So sweet. One of my students even made cookies for the occasion!

 

Kayla practiced her photography skills taking this picture of the necklace she made for me. When I came home from seminary, all three kids jumped out and starting singing happy birhday. That was truly all I needed. I feel so blessed to have a husband and children who love me. They also each made me these lovely pictures:

 

Kayla's picture: Notice "how fast the year has gone." My favorite is the "sincane" about me. So sweet.

 

Kyle's picture and "fan" to use when it gets hot (it's nice to think of that in this bitter cold). On the back her wrote "made in China"! Hilarious

 

Rachel's picture. She just started drawing people. I love children's art. The pictures above the person are fireworks and balloons.
