On Monday, our family, along with Jason's parents and Aunt Diane (who is moving to our town, bytheway:)) took a road trip to some of the historical sites that we hadn't seen before.
...we may have stretched a few rules to fit us all in one vehicle...
...but we made it safe and sound at the Battle of Lexington site!
I LOVED having more adults than kids! It makes for a relaxing (for the most part) day.
Kyle tried sour cherries from a beautiful cherry tree.
We went to the cemetery where Oliver Cowdery and David Whitmer were buried; traveled to see Haun's Mill, but the road was flooded over, so we went to Far West instead.
And finished off at the construction site of the new Kansas City Temple.
Thanks Aunt Diane, Grandma and Grandpa for visiting us!!
