Fall Festival 2010

I promised pictues, so here they are!  Last week was our towns annual Fall Festival.  Above is Rachel with her friend at the kids games event.
Here is Kayla and her friends waiting for their game.

Rachel in the water balloon toss where she won 2nd prize of a half dollar!

...Rachel at the potato race and the apple bobbing; she didn't win either one but she had fun!

Wristband afternoon at the carnival!
Kyle and his best bud waiting for the rides to open.
The awesome spectators:  we weren't about to pay $20 for wristbands, but we had fun watching!
I have more pictures of Rachel because I was following her around most of the time.Posted by Picasa
Rachel and Haley in the teacups, before Conner, Hunter and Kyle joined Rachel in them (below).

This year is the Sesquicentennial Celebration for our town, and Rachel and I each sang in a special pageant put on about the history of the town.  Rachel was such a trooper.  The pageant ran two nights, and started the 2 hour program at 8 pm.  The kindergarteners performed at the END of the program-- getting home at 10:30 pm.  Rachel is in the middle with the jean jacket and dress on.

Posted by PicasaI was also in the "Anniversary Choir" which was a lot of fun to be a part of; I got to meet a lot of new people and serve the community.

BTW, Jason checks in our blog from time to time, and he did so today.  He was conerned that my Royals game post could be interpreted wrong at the part where I said we went out for drinks.  For any of you that do not know us well, we don't "drink."  At all.  Neither one of us have ever even tasted alcohol.  We drink water.  We went out for drinks at the water fountain.  I hope that's clear enough!!

Looks like tons of fun and that is funny about going out for "drinks". That never even crossed my mind.

Jason you drunkard. What are we going to do with you taking your wife out for drinks at the ballgame? I have to laugh because it would never even cross my mind with what was written, but thinking about UNLV games, there appear to be two kinds of people, drunk people or BYU fans.
