Carving Pumpkins on thursday...
Helping at Rachel's class party on Friday...
...and trick or treating down Main Street on Friday afternoon. Thank goodness for that.
The kids didn't feel too bad about Halloween being on Sunday, since they got to go trick-or-treating Friday. We had our own Sabbath Halloween: treats on the driveway with a sign: "Please take one!", All the lights out except pumpkins and candles glowing; dinner and games: Pictionary Junior and LIFE. (and giggles when the kids snuck to the door to watch the trick-or-treaters get their goods). We had so much fun, we even decided maybe trick-or-treating is over-rated. Maybe we should just have a party next year too!

Looks like you had tons of fun. Our Sunday night sounded pretty similar. The kids weren't so sure about not being able to trink or treat but we played Apples to Apples, popped popcorn, ate candy and just had a ball! Trick or treating is definatly overrated.
Love the pumpkins and loved your way of not trick-or-treating on Sunday but still being a part of the community. Kids look great. Give them a hug
Loved the pictures, I didn't know I could comment here, but I am glad I do now. How smart of you to figure out how to do a Halloween Sabbath! We don't get anyone here in our complex....but we did have a Ward Halloween Carnival at the park by the church and I was in charge of the bean bag toss. I took our neighbor kids!
What a fun Halloween! Looks like you all had tons of fun! Love the pumpkins and costumes!! And of course the cute kids!!
