We have had 4 snow days from school in the last 2 weeks. We've been shoveling a lot of snow. The first day, the kids went out without me and shoveled our driveway and 2 neighbors driveways. They really love it. They love playing in the snow too!! 
Shoveling snow with Harold helped me see where Jason gets his service work ethic. I see glimmers of it being passed onto my children. 
Also, Grandma sent new coats for the older kids that she found on clearance. What a blessing! These coats are awesome!! Thank you so much!! 
Kyle and Rachel's big thing has been to find ice shapes throughout the yard and pretending they are swords, shields, guns, etc. Kyle even "stood guard" stiff as a statue one evening with his sword raised the whole time I shoveled our driveway.
We also went to visit the days a couple of times to go sledding down their hill, and to get pulled behind the 4 wheeler! Fun times! When life gives you snowstorms, you've got have fun with it!
