Rachel's new accessory

T
This is Rachel Thursday morning so happy and carefree, asking me to take a picture of her in her favorite outfit.
This is Rachel yesterday morning when she got to help lead the school in their spirit cheers as one of the star students.

This is Rachel this morning after the longest night of her life, trying her hardest to squeak out a smile.
She was attempting to do a "donkey" on the trampoline (where you fall on your knees and bounce onto your hands and kick your feet in the air).  Her right arm buckled underneath her, breaking two bones in her forearm.  We spent the night in two different Emergency Rooms, two different I.V.'s, serveral nurses, doctors, radiologists, and orthopedists, one sedation, and finally, a repaired arm and new cast accessory.  All  from 6:15 pm to 4:30 a.m.  Poor Rachel was so tired of waiting and laying in one position.  This is going to take some getting used to-- it's heavy and awkward.  But she's up to the challenge.
Posted by PicasaKyle and Kayla were so sweet caring for her and worrying about her.  Kyle came with me to the first ER (Jason and Kayla were mowing some lawns together), he held her hand the whole way their and looked out for her.  When we arrived home at 5:30 this morning, they both were anxious to come see her and give her a kiss.  This morning went in the kitchen, I saw this inspiration Kayla had written on the whiteboard.  I actually think a little scare now and then is good for a family, to help us realize how much we really love each other.
