Girl's Camp

Kayla and I got to go to our first Young Women Girl's Camp together this year.

It was really hard for me, with the excessive heat, late nights, and large crowds-- but I did have some good times, like going on the 1st year hike with Kayla and the other girls.

Kayla's favorite parts:  Water games, including the dunk tank!

Making diapers for stillborn babies, and going to the local college to get some relief from the heat for some fun games and best of all...

Rock climbing for our first time! We both made it to the top of a few times and felt very accomplished.
Our branch had a really fun skit centered around the 50's, and Kayla played the good-girl, Sue. I was so proud to see her acting and having fun. She did a great job.
Kayla loved the giant slip n slide.  Both of us were new to this and didn't know quite what to expect.  I was so grateful to be there with Kayla.
