Wonderful Weekend...

The stars must have aligned this past weekend.  The weather was beautiful and we got to be together for General Conference.

In between conference sessions, Kyle and planted some bulbs a friend gave us.

Thanks to our new living room setup and some cords that hook into our laptop and tablets, we were able to watch General Conference on our t.v. for the first time since moving to Missouri!  It was so nice to be comfortable.

The kids had plenty to keep them busy while they listened.

After Elder Nelson's talk, Kyle went and got his "future missionary" tag.  This made my heart smile.

Kyle must have taken this video of Rachel that I just found.  I don't know when she realized it was prayer time.
Because the weather was the best it's been in months, we went on lots of walks this weekend (it also may have had to do with the pedometers we got for everyone; it's fun to walk when your steps are being counted).

We walked to see this lady the day before her birthday:

Her 26th birthday according to the kids.

I have always made cakes out of box mixes, but decided it was time to learn to make them from scratch.  It was yummy.  Kyle and Rachel decorated with strawberries!

We love you Aunt Diane!

P.S.  This was the view from my backyard this morning.  It's going to storm later, but this sure was gorgeous.
