We've had lots of chalk art around here lately!

...and basketball playing.  hallelujah for good weather!

We saw the Kansas City Zoomobile at the library, and Rachel got to pet a baby alligator (or is it a crocodile?  I can never remember).  Kyle loved the animals and took pictures, but was too cool to stand in line to touch them :)

We've been loving this guy:

Rachel and I went on a field trip to Kansas City last week:

We went to a park first

and then to Lego Land!

Kyle and Rachel had their Spring Concert this week.  This is the best view we got of Kyle on the trumpet.

Rachel sang...

and so did Kyle!

Last night for mutual, we played volleyball, and added in this fun element.  Kayla seemed to enjoy it.  (She's on the left in her orange shirt).

Rachel had the opportunity to teach her 2nd grade class about adjectives today.  She was all ready with all of her stuff.

Including step by step reminders of what to say and do.  She went back and forth several times, trying to decide if she was brave enough to stand in front of the class, but she's doing it and I'm proud of her!

This morning was Kyle's D.A.R.E. graduation.  His essay was one of the winners, so he got to read it in front  of the whole group (he, also, wasn't thrilled about that, but he did awesome, as you'll see below).

He received a medal and a stuffed lion for his essay writing!

Of course his biggest fans were there to watch him:
