Valentine's Party

I had the pleasure of being room mom for Rachel's Valentine's Day party.  Do you like her box?  Yep, she found the idea on Pinterest, and asked me to take her to the store for all of the supplies.

My dear Rachel.  She's a character.  Kayla and Kyle were open to whatever until junior high school (as far as style, creativity, participation etc.).  They just didn't have strong opinions.  They were cool with whatever ideas we gave them.  Rachel has very strong opinions.  About what she wears (not hand-me-downs), how her hair is fixed (brushed out and down, that's all), how bulky her coat is (too bulky, she'd rather freeze), wanting to participate in everything (every fundraiser, cheerleading camp etc).  It's a new experience for me, and it's kind of fun and kind of infuriating.
In the last year, from teachers and principals and others, what I hear in regards to Rachel is: "She's different than her older siblings, isn't she?  And, "Wow, she's grown!" (Which she's getting a little tired of hearing).
Oh, how I love her, and the excitement she brings to the table.  I don't know what we'd do without her!
This is her 4th grade class at their Valentine's Party.
