June in Review

June was our get-used-to-summer month.  We did some fun things, had a couple of bored kids at times (my least favorite part), some adjustments, and some what-day-is-it-anyway days.

Kayla's been keeping plenty busy between work and sports.  She's done a couple of shoot-outs and a team camp at the college in Warrensburg.  She and her best friend Laura are the only seniors on the basketball team this year.

Kyle went to his first Stake Youth Dance!  He talked like he was going to hide in a corner all night, but that's not what happened!  He had a great time and wants to go to the next one.  Yessss!
Kyle and Jason went rock climbing for a Young Men's activity:

I had a girl's get together at my house this time, and the only pictures I have are what Rachel took.  I'm glad she's around!

Jason got to invite a guest to a company Royal's game.  I had a book club that night and my friend was leading it for the first time and "needed" me there.  Seeing as baseball with the work crew isn't my favorite, Jason took Rachel.  At the last minute, it turns out there were extra tickets, and Kayla got to go too!  (Kyle could have but he feels the same way about baseball as I do).  As you can probably guess, Rachel is crazy about it!

For Father's Day, all Jason wanted was rolls--lots and lots of rolls.  This picture is only half of them!
We had some of our friends over one afternoon to give their babysitter a break (the parents were out of town).  This is what happens when little kids see Kyle:
Kayla has also been participating in a volleyball league each week.  It's been fun to see her playing this again.

Rachel's been trying to keep busy with having friends over, going to the pool, and other stuff.  Other stuff this day was an experient with color:
That's June in pictures!
