Kayla's senior volleyball season has come to an end. Last Thursday was senior night- the last home game. Each of the seniors walk out on the floor with their parents while the announcer gives a bio of each and what their plans are. Then, they have a recording from each girl for their parents. Out of the 3 of us, none likes to be in front of people, but we survived, with no tears!
The season didn't go as well as Kayla hoped. She was out for 3 weeks due to an injury to her shoulder, which was a good portion of the season. Her first game back was this senior night.

Last tunnel. I didn't get a good one of Kayla coming through the tunnel, but her BFF Laura is coming through.
I never dreamed I would love watching volleyball so much. Only when she's out there!

After senior night they were on to District. Here's a few of my favorite pictures. I love this sequence of the next 5 pictures. They all happened with a couple of seconds, but I love finding the ball in the picture, and seeing Kayla's face. Also, everyone else's faces watching her and the ball.
Districts were well played and ended too soon.
She's pretty much a rock start in my book. :)
