Steven's wedding

Steven got married last weekend!  Steven works with Jason and lived with us for a few months after his baptism last year.  We traveled to Fulton, MO for his wedding.  We spent the night at a hotel because we needed to be there for the rehearsal the night before.  Rachel was happy to have her own bed (Kayla stayed home because she didn't want to miss basketball practice).
We got a room for the boys.  They went to the pool in the evening and first thing in the morning.  Steven's so great to consider these teens his friends.
Us girls got together after the rehearsal for games:
 Love my sis!
The next morning we got to the Presbyterian church early for pictures. (Both Steven and Liz are LDS, but long story short, the civil ceremony happened at this beautiful church).  Jason was the Best Man, and Kyle, Hunter and Val were groomsman.
I had the honor of being the pianist!  Talk about scary.  I played Disney love songs while the guests arrived, then played a classical piece while the wedding party walked in, followed by the wedding march for the bride.  I survived!
He calls us his "mormon family"
The reception was in an LDS church.   I loved this beautiful cake made by Liz' grandmother:

Jason said a few words as Best Man:
I'm so happy for these two.  Ever since he was baptized (and probably before), his dream was to get married and have a beautiful relationship.  He met Liz at Institute Class, and here they are a year later, married!

What a fun trip. You have such an amazing talent in your piano playing and the choices you make in the wonderful music you play. Jason is one of my best men also :)
