Moving...or...Life #3

Soon after Kayla's graduation, there was a lot of this going on:

We had breakfast one last time at our favorite new place in town (can't even remember the name now).

I did participated in my final service with the PTO board at the Elementary School.  I'm leaving the school in good hands.
The teachers at the school went in to give  us a going away gift and thank you for my 9 years of service.  It was very touching to me.  And so great!
My friend Mendy gave Rachel and I pedicures as a thank you for some help I offered her while going through chemo.  I've never been the greatest friend, but I realized I've made some good ones the last few years in Concordia.

Like my dear friend Joan who met while working at the library,

And Bobbie who replaced me at PTO president, and who I wished I would have had the chance to know better long before it was time for us to move.

Jason's parent's flew out for Kayla's graduation, and Rachel flew home with them.  This made it possible for Jason, Kyle and I to fit in the front of the moving truck and tow the car behind.  She got to spend the week with her grandparents!

Kyle and Kayla had their last day of Seminary.  I'm so grateful for these amazing people!

We took our baby girl to college orientation at Longview Community College.

My sister, niece, and friend came to help me pack and clean.  I'm going to miss living close to these people!

And we cleared out our lovely home.  Kayla's stuff to her friend's house ready for her new apartment, and our stuff to the moving truck.
These people here are master packers, I tell you:
And we had some awesome help with loading, some of my beloved Sunday School students.
And we were off!  We left Concordia sunny and warm, and traveled through pouring rain, thunder, hail, and snow along the path to Colorado.  It was an adventure!

But we made it safely without any trouble.  I'm so grateful.
We spent 3 days with Jason's parents, and then moved into our new home!  Life #3 begins

I came across this scripture during my personal study one morning and it felt so applicable to our little adventure. I believe we were supposed to leave Missouri and I now believe Colorado is where we are supposed to be.  Some of the reasons have been shown, but not all.  But we will trust in the Lord and we know that it is by him that we are led.
