Rachel decided to play volleyball this year!
This is her good friend Maya from church. Mia talked Rachel into signing up for volleyball. They've been good friends. Maya is moving next week. :( I'm glad they got to do this together and for the great opportunity it was for Rachel.
They were a good team. They only lost one regular season match and that was because they were playing an "A" team (they were the B team), so they don't really count that loss. :)
It was so fun to see Rachel progress week to week throughout the season, she really improved!
Today was the end of season tournament. She was the only girl on her team that got more than 50 serves over the net this season (that's a pretty big deal because the rule is you can only get 5 per your turn up to serve). She was very pleased with that!
In the end, they came out 2nd place in the championship game. Very well indeed.

Rachel greatly improved on both church and school ball. She was so excited and fully part of both teams. Way to go Rachel :)
