With our trip to San Diego to see Kyle graduate thwarted by COVID, we decided to use our days off and go halfway to Mesquite and see my parents.
We had a great time relaxing, playing in their pool, and playing games. One day we went to St. George, Utah to a park my mom had heard about that was really fun.
We thought Melody would love the train ride, but she fell asleep on the way there and would not wake up, even when the train whistle blew!
She finally woke up for lunch and play time.

We went on a walk to see animals and to a splash pad after watching graduation on Facebook.
It was ALMOST just what we needed, if you know what I mean.
