Kyle's 7th Birthday

Kyle turned 7 years old on friday! He began the day as planned with cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and he opened his gift from grandma and grandpa. That afternoon we went swimming with the cousins and had them over for a dinner of chicken rolls, his favorite. Hunter gave him some Bakugan which he thought were really great; and they both had to explain exactly what Bakugan is (small transformer-like balls that open into characters when put on their magnetic base).
Then on Saturday, Jason took him to use the money he received to buy a new bike! His old one was getting way too small. Of course, he chose a red one. He loves it.

 

 

 

 

Sister Wood came over on Sunday and gave him a birthday gift-- red curtains for his room that she made herself. Kyle had been wanting red curtains ever since Kayla got curtains on her birthday. Sister Wood made these very special and told Kyle it was SHU headquarters (Super Heroes of the Universe), and that he was Captain Kyle and reported to General Jason Davis and General Melissa Davis, and that he had two Super Sis'. The tent shape opens the curtains to enter SHU headquarters, and the triangles are flags on top. Kyle thought this was great. What a treasure.
