Well, like I mentioned in my previous post, today was our branch conference at church. After church, we had a potluck lunch to feed our stake leaders, and then with clean-up and everything, we got home around 3:30. For dinner I just told everyone to get themselves something. Jason said I needed to take a picture of Kayla's dinner: A hard-boiled egg, pickles, a yogurt. and bread and jam!
Cutie Rachel...
Oh yeah, our branch presidency was released today! Jason was released as 2nd counselor to President Gallup....and called as 1st Counselor to President Val Day (my brother-in-law). I was secretly hoping for a rest for Jason, and that he could sit with me in sacrament meeting again; but it's not to be. I've got a good man with a strong testimony who's willing to serve wherever the Lord calls, and for now at least, there's not an end to that service in sight.

Happy Birthday! Sounds like you had a great day of spoiling. Your seminary students and your family were so sweet to do all of that.
Wow! What a day. I bet that was really bitter sweet to get called agian after just serving in the branch presidency but Jason and you both are incredible and the Lord knows you have the strength to handle it again.
Kayla PS- You need to come to my house and cook dinner. You even had all the four food groups. (veg-pickles, meat-eggs, grain-bread, dairy-yogurt) Nice selections!
Love Kayla's dinner! WOW! Congrats to Jason!! He is such a wonderful guy!! You should be proud! But I am sure it is hard to have him in another presidency!
I want to know how pickles and yogurt taste together? Congratulations son. If you didn't do such a good job you might have been released. Tell Val congrats also.
congrats on the calling, I didn't know Jason was in the bishopric. If my children got what they wanted for dinner it would have been chicken nuggets or anything but healthy stuff! you are a great mom Melissa.
