Kyle's a teenager!

Yesterday was my favorite son's 13th birthday.  We had a good day.  He wanted cream cheese danish's for breakfast, which didn't turn out quite how he expected, but he was polite about it.
Then we drove 30 minutes to get a good price on donuts, because he had a vision of what his donut cake would look like.

It wasn't until later that evening that we discovered it was national donut day!  No wonder there were slim pickings a the store.  Anyway, Kyle wanted to stack his donuts and fill in the spaces with icing.
This also, didn't turn out quite as he expected, but we had fun doing it.
Now that he's thirteen he can carry his sister like a princess...
...and be carried like a prince?
We had the Days, Aunt Diane, and Christa over.  Christa is pretty much an adopted member of the family.

We're so grateful they all were here.

A faithful few stayed to play some crazy games, like a water balloon toss.
 And a starburst throw.

And a new game we discovered called Barnyard:

Happy 13th Kyle!!  From, your biggest fan.
