At the branch Christmas party, the young women, me and my counselor all sang my favorite Christmas song, "One Star" by Cherie Call. I'm hiding in the back 5th from the left.
Rachel got to participate also by acting as one of the wise men in the primary nativity.
Either the Sunday before or the Sunday after, we participated in "Cookies and Caroling" with our town's Inter-faith Alliance. We met at the Methodist church for practicing, then headed across town to the Lutheran nursing home and walked their halls and cafeterias singing.
Thanks to Grandma Carol I have a picture of Drew and Kayla singing,
Jason and I together,
and all 3 kids singing together! So great.
Then we went back to the Methodist church where we ate cookies together and sang more songs just for fun. The Methodist pastor was impressed by Courtney's singing and asked her to sing a solo. Before Kayla knew it, she was being dragged up to sing with a group.
