So, last Friday and Saturday Jason and Kyle went on a father/son campout. Kyle loves camping. Why?
Because he LOVES fires! No, really, he LOVES fires! He helped start it kept it burning. He came home bragging that they kept it going a lot longer than the ones we do in the backyard. They roasted hot dogs and made S'mores. Fun times!
Also, the next morning, they saw a wild turkey! Jason loves seeing the wildlife.
Well, we only have 1 camera and two events were going on; so the boys took the camera. But Kyle took a picture of us girls before they left. We had our girl's night all planned out. We had a fancy dinner of cereal with toast, then went to rent a movie. We found High School Musical for 89 cents at the grocery store, then headed to our local CreeMee Freeze for ice cream cones. We got one extra cone and went to visit our friend Sister Wood. Then we went to a the park until 8:00 (normally bed time, so they were happy!), followed by home and a campout in the front room watching high school musical, in anticipation of muffins the next morning for breakfast. We had a great time, and Kayla was back to her happy self. I'm so excited for summer and to spend more time with my kids.
