Cousin's Day

Last week we got to help out my sister and brother-in-law who were both at youth conference that day. The 3 cousins who weren't at Youth Conference spent the day with us!

On the way over, they found a little turtle walking across the road and "rescued" it. They all thought it was great; played with it for an hour or so, and let it go.

We also took a little trip over to the church to practice a musical number the girls would sing in church on Sunday. We have been working on it for months on random Sundays after church, and they were finally able to sing it on Sunday. They did a beautiful job. I never dreamed I'd see Kayla singing a SOLO part in church. I don't think this would have happened if we were in a huge ward (although I'd love it if we had one, don't get me wrong!). Unfortunately, my camera only takes 1 minute videos, so here is one clip from the middle. Each of the girls sang one verse solo, then the chorus and the last verse together. It was very sweet. Sorry this video isn't the best. Thanks Hunter and Kyle for you videotaping!
