Saturday Kayla was spent the day at the I-70 Conference Choir, learning music from a guest conductor, to be performed later that evening. I got to go watch- I always enjoy it.

I took a picture with her and her two friends before I learned they were taking a group picure.
This is the group from her school who went, and her choir director, who was also the pianist for the whole thing- she's pretty amazing.

In other news, we have a new-to-us car! Oh, the freedom! Kayla's two married teachers were selling this car, and we couldn't pass it up. She did her best to find a job and get her own, but in this small town there aren't a lot of opportunities. So, we own it, she drives it and will pay us for it someday. For now, all of us are enjoying the freedom of her being able to get herself places and give the younger kids rides.
