Kayla's Spring Choir Concert

Last night we went to Kayla's Spring Choir Concert!  Kayla is pretty modest when it comes to her singing.  She doesn't sing solos (at least I've never heard her) and when in a group, she doesn't sing louder than the rest, so I was surprised and touched to see this from her choir teacher:
First of all, what an awesome teacher, to take the time to encourage Kayla.  2nd of all: Wow!  I think it's pretty cool.  Here are her performances.  Can you believe there are only 9 students in the choir?  Band is a big deal around here, and it's really hard to be in band and choir with other required classes.  Plus, it's a small school anyway.  I think they did a great job, though.

Here she is with a few friends after the concert.  Christa (on the left) graduates next month, these two have been together through basketball and choir the last few years, we're going to miss having her around!
