The rest of March...

I was released as Young Women's President, and Jason somehow didn't need to go, so Kayla and Kyle went to their first youth event without us!  It was a devotional in Independence with the new LDS apostle Elder Stevenson.  When they came out of their rooms ready to go, they were matching!  Kyle didn't want me to take a picture but Kayla did, and she can talk him into things sometimes.  This time, it worked!  I love these guys.

We lay sod at Aunt Diane's house last weekend.  It was supposed to rain, so we started earlier than we told those we had asked to help.  Kayla had to work that morning, but Kyle, Rachel and I got over there 30 minutes after Jason and he was already this far done:

He's a pretty awesome worker.  By the time our friends got their to help, their was about 1/5 of the yard left, and we finished in about 15 minutes.  I didn't get an after picture yet, though.  It looks good!
Here's Kayla partway in uniform for her job at McDonalds!  She puts her hair up and wears a visor, and also a belt with an M on it.  I'll get a picture sometime, but she's not super cooperative about it.  She's enjoying the job, although standing for 8 hours is a new and tiring experience!

Easter is getting a little different.  We still colored a few eggs but Kayla wasn't interested.  We didn't have any family in town for dinner, so we invited some friends from church with little kids.  We had a great time.  I love seeing my big kids having fun with little kids.

Easter Sunday Kayla and I sang in the interfaith choir for the Sunrise Service, then we came home and I drug everyone in for a few pictures:
