We saw this Smoky the Bear shirt in Target a few months ago, and I had to get it for Rachel. And I was happy to repeat the story that my great-uncle Elliot was one of the forest rangers who found the real Smoky the Bear as a baby in a burning tree during a forest fire, and nursed him back to health.
