A great weekend

On Saturday we had the privelege of attending the baptism of one of my seminary students. Bobby started coming with a few friends a couple weeks into seminary and joined the class, and hasn't missed very many days since. It was really neat to see the example of these great youth.

Here's my class minus one girl at the baptism:

We've been spending a few special minutes with Kayla after the other kids were in bed, working on this puzzle. It took us about a week, but we got it done!

So, Kayla decided she wanted bangs. I was kind of shocked because she didn't tell me and didn't ask me for help....! But, I actually think she did a good job and it looks cute.

And, for the benefit of grandparents, here is a video of Kayla playing her flute this week. Your investment is paying off, grandma! She is doing well. I don't remember her being so passionate about anything before. She'll practice for 30-60 minutes after school when only 15 are required by her teacher. I'm very pleased to see her enjoying it and excelling.

What a brave young lady to cut bangs all by herself! I bet it is beautiful to have all the music in your home. Congrats Kyle on your first piano lesson. I can't believe Rachel literally lost her tooth and being only 4 years old. Crazy! Barry Bretton just lost his this year and he is almost 7.
