Last Monday Kyle had a successful ear surgery and is hearing excellent once again. Yea! He and Rachel each got a new teddy bear from the nurse; they thought that was pretty cool.
Also last Monday, Rachel had Grandparent's Day at school and invited our neighbor from across the street. She had a good time, but was missing her real grandparents.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my sister Jen's house. My neice Courtney made a video that day. Here is a link to see it:

I'm not good at adding links to this blog, but I think if you click on the title to this blog, it will get you to the video link.
Saturday was Jason's birthday. It was so nice to have it as part of a four day weekend! We had a great day together. We went shopping for him to pick something out for himself; but he couldn't find anything he wanted. I knew he wanted a Wii, but I've been totally against it. I just don't think any video game is worth event he sale price of $199. But the joy on his face when I said, "Just get the Wii,"...PRICELESS. We all had a fun time playing and I'm sure it will bring lots of fun times to come.
Here is the kids beautiful artwork:

I am so glad for Kyle and I loved the teddie bear. Happy Birthday son! I am thinking of buying a Wii for Dad for Christmas so learn it fast so you can instruct us.
That is so great that Rachel got to bring a nieghbor to Grandparents day at school. Happy Birthday Jason! That is great that you got a Wii. I have to say this is really ironic because I am totally anti video game systems. Barry on the other hand has always wanted to get one and has said how wierd our kids will be that they don't even know what a video game is. We always keep Christmas really simple at our house but this year I have been entertain the thought to get a Wii. Why? I am not quite sure. I mentioned it to Barry and he now says we are going to get one but I just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money on something I will have to fight to keep the kids off of. So I guess I am asking for your expertise. Now that you own one is it really worth the money and would you do it over agian?
