I love to see the temple...

Saturday we went to the St. Louis Temple. It was such a gorgeous morning (the first real warm one we've had, I think), so we took a walk and some pictures. There were three adventures about the day: 1st, About 20 minutes into the trip Jason asked me if I had remembered my skirt. No, I hadn't. It was hanging on the bedroom doorknob (I wear comfy clothes on the way since Jason goes in first). We got into St. Louis at 6:40 a.m., and there wasn't a store open at that time. So we waited until 7:00 when Walmart opened and Jason helped me pick out this cute comfy dress for $14. We still made it to temple by 7:15 where Jason met the new member of our branch and missionaries to do Baptisms!
2nd: We needed groceries from Costco, and there wasn't a Costco close to the freeway between St. Louis and home, so we packed up to big coolers and stopped by Costco on the way home and filled them up. With groceries and temple bags for us and the kids, our van was full.
3rd: The air conditioner in our van hasn't been working very well, but we haven't needed it until yesterday. We were facing a long 3 hours without an A/C and 89 degrees outside, but my awesome husband picked up a recharge kit from Walmart, and in 15 minutes we were on the road with cool breezes blowing through the van. He's such a stud.
