The next chapter for me...

Last October, I knew there was a likelihood that by the end of the school year, I would lose at least one of the children I provided care for, and I pondered whether I should continue providing childcare (accepting more children), or move on to something else.  In answer to my prayer, I felt the words "I will take care of it.  I gave you this job, and I'll take care of it when your time is done."
I had faith in that answer but impatiently wondered what would happen.
Early this past spring, I began working on my Knowledge value experience for Personal Progress .  I began taking interest surveys, and researching different options for furthering my education.  I came to the conclusion that I would like to work at a library!  I honestly don't know why I never thought of this before!  I love literacy, people, and customer service, and when I went to talk to the branch manager at our local library, she said that it takes someone who is organized- well I knew I was in then!
I got a little bit discouraged as I researched options for education.  Library Science is a Master's Degree and their aren't schools in Missouri that offer it-- besides that fact that I would need to finish up my bachelor's degree, and it would take a lot of work to even figure out how my credits from UVU would transfer to Missouri colleges.
Meanwhile, I did learn that I would be losing both children that I provided care for, and although I  enjoyed the experience in many ways, I felt like it was time for me to move on to something else.
So, I felt like I should just keep my eye out for part-time work of any kind that appealed to me.  I was looking at library openings (because you don't need to have a master's degree to work at library, just to be in administrative positions), but they were all at least 40 minutes away and Jason didn't like the idea of me traveling that far.  I saw little hope of positions opening up in our city library.
I applied for a position as a preschool aide in a nearby school.  It was a full-time position, but I felt like I should at least apply for it, then go from there.  I'm glad I did, because the interview did not go well at all, and it was great practice for me (I haven't interviewed for a job in at least 10 years).
To my surprise, a friend of mine called and said that she had seen an opening at the library in my town!  This was a great testament to me that God really was taking care of it, just He told me he would.
I was so excited and tried my hardest to keep cool while asking for an application.  To make a long story a little shorter, I interviewed and was offered the position!  I accepted of course!  I will have several days of work in July, and then start my regular shift of Wednesdays and Thursdays and some Saturdays.
I feel very blessed and guided to this opportunity, and am looking forward to this new chapter.
